No big deal. It is literally the worst short of them all so bad audio just fits.

On one hand, it makes me grateful that the backup even exists in the first place.  
On the other, it’s sad to think that we’re this close to straight up being screwed in getting the best quality on these shorts.

It’s highly egotistical if you claim them creating something is a waste of time and talent, solely because you don’t like it and not in regards to other criteria.

I was confused by that too. But if the statement was directed at me let me elaborate. To say that I’m not thrilled about the attention EQG gets would be inaccurate, but not untrue. My lack of enthusiasm simply means I have zero interest in the series as a whole, be they the original moves or what came after, and thus knowing they are getting this new series and shorts does nothing for me. I don’t get it, but I’m not bothered by it either.
 
But if you asked me a couple years ago, I would have said it’s probably a waste of the team’s time and efforts. And that stems from the fact that I just don’t think EQG as a whole is very good. It’s mediocre at best and insulting to it’s audience at worst. And while I have many, many criticisms about the IP, I have no qualms towards those who do enjoy it and want to see more.

It’d be someone at Hasbro or Discovery Family probably, and DHX is really only contracted to make the things, not distribute anything.

The person she sends it to doesn’t necessarily equal the person who uploads it. SHe probably sends it to another person at DHX who then distributes it, and there’s no guarantee they’ll send along the message. There are several hands these shorts go through.
 
It would probably be more fruitful to confront Hasbro, since it’s an issue on their end.

Hey Hadley, you know who you deliver the episode to. I bet it wouldn’t take you long to send them a quick note. But fuck, why be helpful, eh?

Have you considered contacting Hasbro directly, maybe via their Youtube channel, twitter or even via an email? (You can get customer support for the toys, maybe there’s one for media too?) There’s no guarantee of a response, but somebody’s gotta be monitoring it.

Very much out of the loop, as well as a someone who never liked EQG from the start, so my interest in the series was never there to know what they’ve been doing with it.
