But of all the things I wanted to do with my character, related to Christmas, I wanted to aim for this. Most of this is largely because of my childhood when I used to watch Rankin-Bass’s Rudoph special every year. It was always aired on CBS as a tradition. As I look at it from an adult’s perspective, it hasn’t aged too well, which is why I’m more geared towards Charlie Brown Christmas. Most people’s favorites are the Grinch, which is a nice pick, but I didn’t always have the privilege of watching that short by comparison. That being said, I still enjoy the Rudolph special regardless of it’s bad aging and still have that inner child. Rudolph is still a character I was able to sympathize with and even as a somewhat role model of facing being different from society. And not so much for everyone else, including Santa. So I brought this out.
I was hoping that this would work with my OC. And additionally I planned of having him strapped to a sleigh, giving Keyframe a ride. But I was short of time, and as is I fear people would take this outfit the wrong way and perceiving it as something more… suggestive. Which isn’t my intention. Just a simple pose with a caring smile where I show his eye-shadow (Seriously, I can’t get enough of showing some of that. My apologies).
That all said and done, Merry Christmas, and I hope your holiday is going well.
“Also, he looked like a Pegasus, that, of course, you already know!”
