IMHO an Earth goddess would be so jaded I doubt she would really care about Humans “Hurting her”. I mean, her life was basically huge stretches of boredom, punctuated by being hit by asteroids/freezing half to death/flooding/more asteroids/freezing again. With her inhabitants undergoing mass deaths at the same time as these disasters happen, which means she has to wait ages before life starts being interesting again.
 
Compared to all that I don’t think Deepwater Horizon or the Aral Sea really registers :P She’s probably just happy that we have lasted this long, and done so many interesting things. Keeps the boredom away.
