No lawsuits - those are only applicable when someone else is making money from Hasbro’s intellectual property. Since these books were sold at production price, the only ones making money off it were the printing and shipping services, and they do it just practicing their respective trades, and are not responsible for what is being printed or shipped.

here come the lawsuits.

Project Sunflower was the first Real MLP fanfic I ever read,back in early 2013. Before I had been sympathetic to the concept of the ponies because of the art-style and seeming innocence but didn’t really know what it was about. This brilliant fic was what got me to love the characters and the show and got me into the fandom.
 
The way it was able to uniquely include humans in a pony world and create a conflict meaningful interesting that challenged the ideas of each side without changing or vilifying the character of each people was something special. Bless this fic,glad to see it’s apparently been printed in some manner.
