I’m not sure how you arrived at that conclusion. Trixie wants to prove her might, so decides to challenge Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight might have felt so ashamed after losing to Trixie that she felt exile was her only choice. We all know how Twilight can make bad decisions. She only thinks of the negative consequences and doesn’t consider all her options.
I’m pretty sure Trixie is going to be more obnoxious than ever. I’m hoping we will all be surprised by the episode, though. So good so far this season!
