Indeed, the expressions are more or less what I would expect anyone to make when watching someone destroy something by accident, regardless of whether super strength was used or not.

Well to be fair, neither is Equestria Girls.

If it counts, I don’t think any of the guys here were in Camp Everfree during the Gloriosa Incident, so this might be the first time they saw AJ manifest super strength instead of the usual rainbow lasers.
 
Also, a locker door being ripped off of its hinges still makes a pretty loud sound, as does slamming it back into a locker with enough force to dent, so they’re probably just reacting to the situation as a whole, not just blatant superpower use specifically.

I’m actually suddenly trying to figure out how that even HAPPENED. the door bent at the middle before the sides of it were anywhere near the sides of the other lockers.

The Magic Goes Away:  
So the Big Bad is defeated, right? All things are going back to where they ought to be. Order is taking over again. But there is no room in this new world order for magic. Perhaps magic has finished its work in the world, maybe the Big Bad was tied to the source of all magic, or maybe it was sealed away, but all traces of magic are now gone, or at least disappearing fast. The Time of Myths is no more.

In Dragon Ball the Magic Goes Out of competitive fighting: by the Cell/Android Arc, the general populace has forgotten entirely about ki and all the amazing feats that were proven possible back in Goku’s youth. Now the Budokai tournament is attended by a mostly-ignorant audience and dominated by self-aggrandizing fighters like Mr. Satan (granted, he’s a capable conventional martial artist), who all write Magical Martial Arts off as stage effects (pro wrestling jokes from fans of the series were inevitable). Piccolo even notes that Budokai seems to have lost its soul as it became more popular.

Only really seems to happen with AJ. Pinkie’s flashback a few seconds later just has everyone around her looking amused.

its actually weird, in dragon ball everyone believed crazy stuff at the drop of a hat; Dragon people, demons, werewolves? Yeah, that is totally real.  
But Dragon ball Z? Hell, everyone took their “disbelieve” pills or something. Which is weird considering they had the saiyan attacks at the very start of the series and nobody batted an eye at what was happening being untrue.
