Inspired by a weird dream I had.
 
Everything on Equestria was banished and sealed into cards  
by an evil mage through the use of forbidden magic.  
The surviving ponies were Princess Twilight and Starlight Glimmer.  
The two were informed by Princess Celestia and Luna about the mage  
before they were also banished and trapped. The mage then confronts  
the two surviving ponies in Twilight’s castle. Twilight was overpowered  
by the mage’s spell, so she opened up the portal to the human world. But  
Twilight was then captured, leaving Starlight to use a spell to steal all  
of the mage’s cards and send them into the human world, and made her escape  
through the portal before closing it. Starlight manages to get the card of  
Princess Twilight, but the other cards were scattered all across the human world.  
Starlight asks for help to the Mane 7 to gather all the cards in order to restore  
Equestria and prevent the evil mage from getting them. Sci-Twi and co. must harness  
the power of the magic cards of Equestria in order to do so.
 
This classic ps1 game is the first thing that came to my mind when I recall that dream I had lmao
