By that logic theirs also a universe where all the females of that world (even the canon lesbians.) are head over heels in love with one person, (which again is probably us.) As such each one has agreed to let him have a massive harem of ponies and such so long as he ensures they all get married.

I’m not going into defense force mode. I just wanted to make sure you were aware that the theory existed before the show (which you obviously are.) It’s far too common today to find people who think everything begins and ends in current-day pop culture. I want to facepalm so hard when a phrase or reference that dates back dozens, hundreds or even thousands of years (from the Roman era, for example) gets comments along the lines of “Hurr durr, that’s from (current day show)!”
 
As far as the theory itself being unproven, that’s correct. However many things in science were nothing but theories at one point but are now considered concrete fact. Atoms for example, or germs. Even black holes remained a theory until relatively recently.

I am aware of the theory, but theories are not facts until disproven. In this case, and similar cases, we can assume something does not exist until it is proven to exist, otherwise we’d be going into Spaghetti Monster territory. That is, the argument that you cannot disprove the existence of a flying spaghetti monster in space, therefore there is automatically a flying spaghetti monster in space.
 
Me saying Rick & Morty doesn’t teach real science, and that there are indeed people who take what it says seriously, is not a personal attack on the show, which I actually enjoy. So please don’t go into defense force mode, because I’m not attacking the show.
 
I’ve had arguments with people on YouTube who claim cartoon characters are real because they think an “infinite multiverse”(which they think is a thing that exists) means “everything possible is real an infinite number of times” and even cite the “a universe where everything is corn” thing from Rick & Morty as their example. That is actually not how the concept of infinite space/time continuum works, on a logical assumption, at least. As an example, Rick’s argument to the testicle monster was that if he is immortal he’s going to do everything, including turn around, which isn’t accurate, since free will means that he could still, despite the character possibly living forever, still choose to not turn around. Another thing is that the assumption assumes we all ready know the sum-total of all there is to know of space/time and that we have mapped it, which we have done none of.

I hope you realize the multiverse theory existed before Rick & Morty’s creators were even born themselves, and there’s nothing that proves or disproves it one way or the other.
