Hey! I finally found time to draw again, and this time it took me 3 weeks off-and-on to draw this o_0. (No joke, I did the trace week 1, did the digital pen lines week 2, did the face color and eyes beginning of week 3, then finally finished it today!)
 
One thing I really loved about the movie (well, one of the things I loved about it) was the new methods of doing art for the eyes and ears. Making the white circles partly translucent to make them actual reflections, as they were intended to be, and the ears having more detailed structure. So since I can’t replicate the show art 1:1 yet, and I’m still getting pony faces to look more proportional, I figured why not fuse the styles! I’ve got the eyes from the movie (minus the gradient…thanks apple…), and the new ear styles (hey real ears!). Because I want to keep making better art, kept doing more detailed shading.
 
Also big shout out to who helped point out what I was doing wrong in my last drawing. No more totally odd-shaped face. THANKS!!!
