7 years late to this party, but you seem to be talking out of both sides of your mouth. “Let him just have his wish fulfillment!” out of one side, “Stop fulfilling your own wishes by editing the picture!” out of the other. Well, which is it? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. If you think people are pathetic for taking “hours and hours” to edit a character out of a picture - but don’t think it’s pathetic to spend hours and hours making the original self-insert pic in the first place - then it would seem you’ve found yourself in a logically inconsistent position.
 
Perhaps instead of playing armchair psychologist, you would have been better served to state your ACTUAL opinion: “I think it’s disrespectful to alter the artist’s work without his permission.” I’m guessing the truth just didn’t quite have the ‘sting’ you were looking for.

I don’t know how concerned I should be that people take hours at a time to edit a picture just so it fit their standards.
 
That’s kinda like using wish-fulfillment (removing who people don’t want) to fix wish-fulfillment. There’s something not right about that.

Now it just looks like RD is jelly of AJ.
