I fucking love fluttercord to. I see the appeal of both dislestia and fluttercord but I go more by chemistry like actual build up and interaction. I never saw any dislestia moments in the show I don’t know why people call it canon tbh or where it even came from there’s absolutely no romance there but there are all kinds of appeal in every ship. I see the appeal between Discord in Celestia if they were to be romantic if they had them have actual build up and chemistry. I ship discoshy though because it had my heart from the start. but if they never interacted or showed them as much as they do like if it was actually Celestia he had build up with I think I’d ship it because I like build up. Although tbh even if they were romantic I don’t think it would last long or work out given the 2 different maturity levels between the two of them. because they serve entirely different purposes because her job other than raising the sun is to bring harmony to all the land and his is generally the entire opposite of that which serves to get in the way of that process. Yes they are opposites but they are TO opposite. Theres no balance there like there is with Fluttershy and Discord being they are opposites to as said in the show itself but they have a balance together unlike Celestia and Discord who always puts her duties ahead of everything and Discord being the needy creature he is, he would only get in the way of her duties and need constant attention and she wouldn’t have time for him but Fluttershy does. and she gets him so well, Fluttershy reads him like a book and that’s what a great romance starts off from. If you just go in full headed thinking something will work because it looks good then it’s very closed minded and would just be bad writing if they did decide that they would be romantic. because realistically if Discord and Celestia did decide to date it wouldn’t last long at all. as for Fluttershy being the one that gets him and always has time for him. I’m just explaining why I think it wouldn’t work everyone has their own opinion don’t let it stop you from shipping it. plus I love the fan art. Don’t get me wrong they have good fan art. I don’t want to “hate on dislestia’ that isn’t my intention. They make a good appeal together but not really good chemistry or realistically good balance romantic wise. Sorry if this sounded rude. This wasn’t my intention. I am just explaining things from a point of view.

I noticed the “artist” is already upoading a lot of similar images with random characters depicted the same way. Derpibooru should delete all of them as this is nothing else than screencaps and not an original art.
