kinda like in digimon adventure 01 and digimon the movie where the 7 digidestined saw greymon fight parrotmon when they where younger
Looking closely: it has the same coloring as current Thorax, horns like Thorax, wings like Thorax, and as you said a quadrupedal. Maybe baby Thorax knew even then. Or met a younger Spike some where along way.
Not only that, but a discarded Chryssy-colored one.
How funny would that be if that was a factor in their initial meeting?
