Hey, thanks for the feedback. I’m aware both of how muddy the left looks (which is why I tried the right) and how I really just threw together nonsense shapes on the hair. At this point I’m still new and experimenting, but maybe I should try using references especially with these things I can tell myself are off somehow.

The shading on the left makes her look kind of dirty. The right one is better, though the shading on the hair seems to be sort of random and not following any particular flow. Also the booping hoof has a bad case of noodle arm. I’d really recommend using references for anatomy. And maybe worry about shading after you have an understanding of anatomy. Not a terrible practice picture.
