You’re right, I could turn there entire body into nothing more than a brain and trillions upon trillions of nerves ending in hypersensitive pain receptors kept alive my magic, and then just leave them

Eros has a point, there’s just something pathetic about denying the existence of something undeniably stands before you, i know if I were a god an some atheist denied my existence despite my undeniable presence I would destroy them, one molecule at a time

Hey, that’s great, sissy boy, but there’s one thing you made the mistake of putting into us.

I just want to note that in my previous comment I said all bosons move at the speed of light – this is false. Just slipped out, and I feel the need to correct myself by saying that only gluons and photons (and, theoretically, gravitons) travel at c; the w, z, and higgs bosons do not. My apologies, I only just noticed my mistake.

That’s why it’s called “relativity”. The mass only increases from an outside perspective. You don’t end up with objects becoming black holes because from their own point of reference, they aren’t changing mass.

That’s why I said the math is more complicated at relativistic speeds. Also, light speed is, more accurately, thought of as the velocity at which energy is transferred through quantum fields. Not just the limit – it is the DEFAULT. Various interactions between distinct force fields and quantum fields is what create part of phenomena of mass (or inertia, in this case), where bosons, epiphenomena of their respective quantum fields, just so happen to not interact with the Higgs field due to complicated properties of their substrate. Photons are bosons, so they do not interact with the higgs field and does not require energy to accelerate. Where everything else requires energy to accelerate, due to the higgs mechanism ‘giving’ inertia. Like slogging through water.

oughta point out that at relativistic speeds, the mass of an object literally increases. we don’t usually notice, because e = mc2 and c2 is HUGE, but an object’s mass is all its energy, including kinetic. that’s sort of why things can’t go past light speed (logical contradictions nonwithstanding) is they get more massive as they approach it, and thus harder to accelerate.

what I wanna know is what happens if you accelerate something so much, its mass gets greater than a black hole of its size?

The net force acting on an object is the mass of said object times its acceleration. But the equation gets even more complicates with something going relitivistic speeds. And something going a significant fraction of c impacting something that is at relative rest accelerates both objects in opposite directions (I would say decelerates, but that is technically wrong). This releases immense, short lived bursts of energy on both collections of water molecules – in short, the handful of water stops acting like a glob of water and starts acting like beams of individual particles, most definitely fusing neutrons with any atoms in the way and then fusing even more neutrons once reaching the molecules making up the puddle. In layman’s terms: boom.
