Was that game any good?
That ending was just… ugh. Bad enough Genndy turned the whole thing into a lousy shipfic for Jack and his perfect little tragic snowflake of a creator’s pet that is Ashi, but then she also turned out to be a walking deus ex machina to return Jack back to the past, and to top it all off he she gets martyred just to make Jack eternally pine for her. I’m surprised he didn’t go the extra mile and have her kill Aku too while he was at it.
I’ll just stick with the PS2 game and the IDW comic if I ever want any post classic SJ material after this.
In return, he undid the suffering and death millions of billions of people who had to deal with Aku’s reign for thousands of years and saved the Earth from being ravaged of its resources. If Jack did kill Future Aku, it’d be a long healing process.
Have you ever thought they will just born in a different future? the only one really gone is ashi.
