The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

I’m a JPNese and gotta agree, why not? but I know it just won’t happen. It’s not worth the investment for anyone. sucks balls man, Asia really could use some friendship these days.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

There used to be an article on Everfree radio’s website that answered that question, but now that they’ve changed their URL it seems to be gone. Basically:

a) their market for children’s animation is saturated as is and they don’t feel the need to import a lot of cartoons;
b) the brony fandom hasn’t grown much there, since there aren’t that many Japanese otaku browsing English language forums.

Either way, there is a small community centered on doujinshi and subbed episodes on niconico. Most of the episodes there have around 4000 views (Lesson Zero had like 12000). And there’s also an otaku subculture called “ookina otomodachi” (big friends) - adults who are fans of various anime and cartoons targeted at pre-schoolers./weabooshitnobodycaresabout

BTW, nice South Park reference. That was a damn good episode.
