Today I had two root canals and I drew this because they hurt and it sucks
It’s not their fault they didn’t find it. I was a kid and I knew it was there and I didn’t tell anyone. We’re going way off topic though and that’s more than you need to know.
well that’s just terrible. I thought they could pinpoint that stuff easier.
I had cancer. I had to get the area radiated. That’s how the treatment works. They do their best to pinpoint the area the tumor was at but they have to go through my skin/bones somewhere to get around to my sinus/roof of my mouth area. So I mean while I appreciate you caring enough to give advice, there was nothing I could do. I wasn’t even an adult yet and honestly the radiation destruction isn’t even the worst part of after cancer shit.
no I’m not saying you shouldn’t get a root canal or twelve. I’m just raging at how they’re almost always a response to a previous screw up, and an expensive one at that. I hope you sued the pants off of whoever irradiated your entire jaw instead of just the target area.
My teeth are already ruined. I had 6 weeks of radiation therapy 11 years ago and that destroyed my teeth and jawbones with osteoradionecrosis which basically means that my teeth and bones in the lower half of my head have tiny holes in them and are now very weak and stuff fractures easily. I only have 19 teeth left and all but one have root canals. And no, there was and is nothing I can do to fix it because it killed so many cells in the tissues and bones. So, yeah.

It’s a long story, but all but 1 of mt 19 teeth are root canaled and crowned. I do have some fake teeth too though!

I appreciate the suggestion but they gave me some pretty strong pain killers and I can’t drink alcohol anyway because of other meds I’m on. I’ll be fine though.
