Then again, it's extremely unusual for a show centered around toys to go on for _*8 freaking seasons_*. I think a change of writing staff is inevitable after such a long time. Per M.A. Larson himself, "[season 3 was indeed originally intended to the be the last one":](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bk8BmQW1X1g). So, to have it even last 8 seasons is something of an accomplishment.
