The Latex plant(don’t have a proper name for it) will pull a victim into it’s mouth in the ground. Inside the plant is a second ‘mouth’ that swallows the victim whole. After the victim has been encased, the plant opens it’s outside mouth so the second mouth can surface, the victim can be clearly seen through the translucent black membrane.

Tentacles will wrap a liquidy substance around the victim, it is darker in color and acts as a second layer. With time, the victim is completely covered in this substance, which fully hides their features from the outside observer. The victim is fully anchored in place and can only squirm and wiggle as liquid starts to rise up from inside the plant to try and fill up the cocoon.
