I was only suggesting to stay away from straight up #000000 black. Nothing wrong with black characters, just that there’s difficulty seeing what the character even looks like when it’s the darkest you can possibly go.

Just a tip - it’s best to stay away from stark black or white in drawings or in a character’s color scheme. As in the darkest or lightest you can possibly go. In this instance, you can only see what’s going on because of the light outline, but you can’t see eyelashes or anything on her right eye.
Cute pose though :D
