If I’m being entirely honest, I like the canon designs better – I know it may sound strange, but they actually feel closer to the old design than these. The hair might be a part of it – the “changedlings” look more or less like the old-style ’lings with the holes filled in a metaphorical coat of paint. Adding hair makes them seem like a completely different species, almost.
