I’d say it’s more often done in kinky situations. It’s also more specialised and more expensive.

This isn’t “bondage” but this is dominatrix style clothing, which can sometimes imply bondage gear. If anything this needs the dominatrix tag the most, but usually bdsm/bondage go hand in hand with that one. Plus the material it’s made of implies the situation it’s used for. You don’t wear latex lingerie as just lingerie, usually it implies a sub/dom relationship.

Yeah, it had the bondage gear and bondage tags, only the latter I removed. And honestly, Tumblr you can tag whatever the hell you want - I’d take the source tags with a grain of utter salt there, lest I find a tag here one day that says “fluffy dolphin wamblers are eating my brain” or one of those random ones some people put instead of more typical post-script methods.
If it had the “bondage” tag, it may have been an implication I didn’t catch. But it was tagged “bondage gear” in the source, so it was tagged with it.
I mean that was my first argument, but I was letting the collar slip because to vanilla people it can kinda be called so. And my “I’d debate” part basically amounted to the same thing - I just didn’t wanna go so far to change the tag because the collar might’ve worked.
But yeah not so much a bondage freak I’d say. Latex freak maybe, but this has almost nothing to do with bondage.
The collar lacks rings, this outfit isn’t bondage gear at all, it’s lingerie.
And I’d debate the rest of this being “bondage clothing” at all. Stockings aren’t, gloves aren’t, and the bra and panties might only count because of the extraneous straps, which mind you some fashion-sets do too, so that shouldn’t rightfully count either. Just ‘cause it’s latex doesn’t mean it’s bondage gear - I suppose swim caps are bondage gear now, then.
