It’s totally fine, no worries
prof.nightjack replied while I was tracking down those links, sorry
Yeah I know, for some reason my brain confused the two of them when I made that post and I have no idea why it did.
I know a song that gets on everybody’s nerves is to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic, slightly different from the song that doesn’t end.

Sorry, I’m wrong, I’m completely wrong. I mixed up two different songs and I don’t know how I did it. The song Apple Bloom is singing here is I Know a Song that get’s on Everybody’s nerves, not The Song That Never Ends.

Wrong, the “The Song That Never Ends” is not this song.
This is called “The Song That Gets On Everybody’s Nerves”
The name of the song is the mane lyric.
This sogn just goes
“I know a song that gets on everybody’s nerves
Everybody’s nerves, everybody’s nerves.
I know a song that gets on everybody’s nerves
And this is how it goes”
Repeat over and over.

Omg I remember that
It’s a real song, it’s called The Song That Never Ends. It was the ending song to Lamb Chop’s Play-Along; now if it originated there or is older than that I have no idea.
Edit: Actually it is a bit older than that, it was written by Norman Martin in 1988
