You are assuming that the writers made fluttershy act like that because the cheerilee thing and that makes no sense. The whole point of putting your hoof down was that Fluttershy wanted to stop being so summisive and iron Will’s training worked too well, the idea that this was somehow inspired by fandom shipping is absurb and only a fluttermac shipper would think that.

However, as for the ship wars, I agree that it was silly. But i think that’s what made Fluttershy a bitch after the writers got inspiration from that fanfic.

There was a ship war that is Cheerimac vs. Fluttermac, and during the ship wars before the episode there were fanfics of Fluttershy being OOC after Big Mac and Cheerilee are together in Hearts and Hooves day.
That could be the inspiration for “Putting your Hoof Down” without the shipping references. And also for the trait of Fluttershy being extremely angry in a few episodes like Magic Duel and Buckball Season. (except Power Ponies)

Total Drama World Tour might also be an example of NTR. As well as NTR causing a good girl to become an evil bitch. (Duncney was canon until Duncan cheated on Courtney with Gwen and then Gwuncan is canon and then Courtney becomes an evil bitch)
Which it also kinda happened in MLP despite Fluttermac not being canon, with Fluttershy becoming an evil bitch and retaining the trait after the Hearts and Hooves Dah ship wars amd Cheerimac being canon. (ex. Putting Your Hoof Down, Magic Duel, Bats!, Flutter Brutter, Buckball Season)
Same thing is happening with Star and if they do make Star an evil bitch for the sake of attacking someone to win the Heart of what they love, I’m gonna troll Daron Nefcy.
