“My new year’s resolution is to try and find where my arrow points and follow it a whole lot more. Over the past year, I’ve learned and lost a lot. My biggest gain from 2016 was my job at Great Wolf Lodge and working there has made me into the person that I am today. Everyone there has taught me something different, but my pack leader, Katie, has really brought me out of the shame I felt of just being me. She always told me “Who cares what other people think?” and that’s something that I’ve really come to realize is really important in life. To be yourself and not let anyone else change who you are or want to be. So, as I leave 2016 and go into 2017, I take those important lessons with me, along with everything in my life that has made me who I am truly meant to be and makes me–ME. And if you don’t like it, then no one is forcing you to stay here. No matter what anyone says or thinks, I’m going to embrace every part of me. 2017 is going to be my year, I can just feel it.”
