Apple Bloom is the younger sister of Applejack. While she is the youngest Apple sibling, she’s just as hard working the rest of her family. The little Earth Pony will often join her siblings when they try to sell their produce. Since she’s so young, her ability to help is limited to simple tasks, but her earnesty makes up for it. Her eagerness to show she can do a task tends to get her in trouble. She has a reckless and precocious streak a mile wide. That recklessness she puts forth for her family makes them weary since she’s very likely to break something along the way, but her family lets her make her own mistakes by taking a step back (well everyone except Applejack for a while).
 
Beyond that, she also takes her time with her group. They help other find their purpose in life. It was originally just her, a Pegasus named Scootaloo, and a Unicorn named Sweetie Belle, but eventually her cousin, Babs Seed and even a Griffon named Gabriella joined on their crusade to help others help themselves. They all join together in a treehouse base they the original 3 refurbished together. If they’re not working together on a common goal, they are often doing their own things, living their own lives.
 
The Earth Pony is a Green Mage, an odd choice for one who can’t use any Magicks. Green Magicks are often used for enabling allies or enfeebling enemies, but the caveat for using any Magick is to have an a magickal affinity like a Unicorn. Apple Bloom looked far and wide to find a way to channel magicks, but even Twilight told her to accept the cold reality of her race. It wasn’t until a visit to Zecora’s that Apple Bloom found her answer. The Zebra told her that if she couldn’t channel Magicks through her weapons or body, she should have her weapons have the Magick instead. Over the course of the following month or so, Apple Bloom brought over specialized tools the Apple family has accrued, mostly measures for various things that have very little to do with farming. Her tools were embedded with Magicks that she can pass onto others with any contact ranging from a lovetap to a slam.
 

 
Gilt Hammer - While she is definitely not the most suited as a mage, her ability to use hammers is unrivaled. Even with just a hammer, she can choose a different path of support. On the handle is a measuring tool, and when hitting an ally with it, they get buffed. Maybe she can’t channel as much as the other mages out there if at all, but none will match her raw strength or swiftness of buffs (even if she’s just the fastest with whatever single buff her current weapon gives).
 
Green Beret-bow - Standard attire for the Green Mage usually has some sort of green beret adorned the mage’s head. Apple Bloom wanted her bow instead, so she put on her bow. It almost sent Rarity to therapy with how gaudy it looked since she had the bow AND the beret. After much complaining to her (and her sister), Rarity was able to at least get them to be a single toned combined accessory.
