Well, if some of you don’t already know, I’ve been doing MLP FIM stories on fanfiction.net.
 
My first completed story was Could Have Been
 
And my other story which is being updated nearly every week is Discordant Feelings
 
Both stories basically revolve around Twilight and her thoughts of Discord after the events of the episode “Return of Harmony” and how almost everything she does reminds her of the spirit of chaos and disharmony…and how much she realizes that she seems to miss Discord. :(
 
I’m really happy how much feedback I’ve been getting for that story, as well as making some new friends because of it. I thought of drawing something that was related to one of the chapters, and I immediately chose one chapter I really wanted to do.

Though Chapter 4: Lion Paw was a favorite among most readers, Chapter 5 gave me a great idea for a picture…
 
Anyone remember episode 2 in Season 2 when after Twilight and her friends found the Elements of Harmony in her library house and tried to use it against Discord the first time, which failed? Remember those sunglasses Discord magically pulled out and put on while Twilight and her friends prepared their powers?
 
Yeah, those glasses were cool and he sure was funny being a little dramatic. :D
 
And somehow that one scene led me to create a new chapter for my story, which was chapter 5. I recommend you read it. ;)
 

 
 
Little recap: Twilight finds a pair of sunglasses in her book bag while trying to look for something to cover her eyes because Rainbow Dash made it too sunny for Ponyville. She realizes the sunglasses aren’t hers because she never even bought a pair. The familiarity of the sunglasses in her hoof suddenly bring out memories of a certain mix-matched creature…
 

 
 
Yeah, wanted to draw the picture featuring Mordecai, or better yet Blondecai, witnessing more of his friend and crush as she keeps thinking about Discord. It worries to think Twilight might be beating herself up of guilt because she and her friends turned Discord into stone. It’s a nice day in Ponyville and Mordecai visits Twilight Sparkle for Farmer’s Market and buy a good deal of Applejack’s juicy apples. It’s a little sunny today, but it’s still pretty beautiful outside. While Mordecai just wears a simple shirt to embrace his blonde hair further, he notices his unicorn friend wearing interesting eyewear…
 
Twilight is wearing Discord’s sunglasses today, no matter how funny it looks. She notices Mordecai noticing her glasses and quietly tells him that someone had given it to her.
 
After their last talk regarding the “Return of Harmony” back in Canterlot, Mordecai immediately figures out that those sunglasses might have been Discord’s.
 
“Those were his, weren’t they?”
 
Yeah, Twilight can’t seem to get Discord out of her mind, and this worries the bluejay. If you’ve read “Could Have Been”, you could understand why she can’t seem to stop thinking about him. :aww:
 
But you got to admit, Twilight sure does look good in Discord’s sunglasses. :XD:
