Zecora is the only zebra in Ponyville. Except she doesn’t really live in Ponyville. She is the only known resident of the Everfree. There are rumors to be other friendly races in the forest, but only the Warriors and Zecora herself really know. As for the zebra, Zecora makes potions for both fun and profit. She is a seasoned Alchemist who has all the knowledge to Mix whatever she needs for almost any given situation. Any others and she will happily try to learn something new with others being blessed or cursed with her controlled yet terrifying curiosity. Beyond that, Zecora is quite skilled at powering up equipment, by soaking it in a special potion or even infusing it with magicks to boost the armor or weapon’s effectiveness. While she loves to make healing salves for her allies, she equally enjoys making explosive brews that she can toss at enemies.
 
The Alchemist spent most of her days living in the forest, but would occasionally visit Ponyville proper to get some supplies she herself couldn’t gather in the forest. She was always scorned and avoided on any visit she made. It was a fate she resigned to endure, but at least they didn’t deny her any service. In fact, they often would buy some potions off of her. Even if they were shivering while asking for a potion she had, it was bits to help pay for more materials, so she didn’t let it get to her. All of this changed after the Curse of Eternal Night. She helped point them in the right direction as they were traveling through the Everfree, and were the first to approach her without fear (well, at least one of them). She even taught them the way of the Poison Joke plant, which exaggerates, compresses or humorously disables certain attributes who get covered by its magickal pollen. Of course it was their own doing, but it’s been a fun anecdotal incident to recall.
 
Zecora has been assisting with various things here and there when she can. Her unique potions, mixings, and approaches to magick has been nothing but helpful to the Warriors, and she has been an alternate approach to learning Magicks for Twilight as she became closer to a master of Blue Magicks and eventually an Alicorn.
 
Potion Satchel - A humble satchel given to her as an apology for her treatment across the village of Ponyville. It may seem a bit on the small side, but the bag has more room than it looks initially. Even beyond that, it was the first gift she was given from her Ponyville neighbors. She was brought to calm, even tears when accepting. The six were knew she was more touched than she let on when she almost missed a rhyme.
 
Mage Masher - This short sword is mostly used for self defense. It has many properties that go beyond simple gashes and stabbing. It is infused with Poison Joke pollen to augment how effective it already is. The blade itself can cause its victims to lose some magical stamina, but the pollen soaked into the blade can cause her opponent to lose their voice. For a channeling mage, she and her dagger can be death knells.
