Still, she’s a 30 year old that is unable to ignore people that say that she sucks, which for someone that is pseudo-famous as she is, it’s totally normal. Everybody gets enemies but she’s unable to ignore them. Even worse, half the time she engages in full blown flame wars with people! Like I said before, she’s as much at fault as those who are “against her”.
Her art is good (most of the times) even if the style is pretty stale in my opinion, but that’s not the problem. She is part of the problem why people “attack” her.

She is known for Dislestia, yet people go and comment her stuff trying to prove Dislestia is not canon and all that. And so? Oh, and they USE her drawings to say that it sucks. It’s a nice feeling having your work treated like that, isn’t it?

Daily reminder that Stepanda herself starts the fights half the time and she’s pretty intollerant of other ships and really quick to call out / get pissed at people.

Is like saying that Naruto/Hinata shippers should just not cheer or express their joy because it upset Naruto/Sakura shippers. If Dislestia follows “discord” tag on tumblr then they should be ready to get their day ruined by the show staff giving them first fluttercord blush.

De Lancie is not a creator of the show, he’s just entertaining the audience with ship he doesn’t care about like Ashleigh Ball shipping AppleDash and Andrea Libman shipping Fluttermac. Nothing made by voice actors can be taken as canon since they don’t even watch the show.

FlutterCord grown a big bigger than any other ship. It can actually act as a topic for non shipping discussion like sparity, since Fluttershy herself act like a huge part of Discord character and motivation. The only thing we knew that Discord love was Himself and Chaos. Yet now, he chose Fluttershy over Chaos since S3 and especially even said so after S4 betrayal, (rest of the sentence include spoilers for the Saturday finale!) and risked his well being and faced Changeling without magic just for her, too.
I had fun once, it was awful.

Anyways, at the end of the day, who gives a fuck what your ship is or what you think about it or what you imagine the characters doing.
Another big, big problem with shipping is that a lot of people will try to shove down others’ people throats their opinions, their couples or worse, they will start drama and “reject” those who think differently from them. Which bring us full circle at the start of this thread.
