You definitely confuse fall of the Soviet Union with the fall of Eastern Block. The biggest contribution to the fall of Soviet Union was made by Soviet Union.

Poland and Hungary are known to have been the biggest contributors to the fall of the soviet union. According to official reports, it was impossible to satisfy them, and every little attempt of control resulted in nation-wide rebellions, guerillas, and the subversion of Russian politics and economics.

Also depending on how you view it the soviet union “Ruled with an iron fist/curtain”. You were not allowed to do certain things or say certain things. That immediately got you fucked off to Siberia in a gulag.
 
there are a million reasons why people disagree with this picture probably. It all depends on how you perceive things.
 
For example i can sit here and say that the soviet union treated the countries (pictured) unfairly with an iron grip.
