And then Equestria ruined itself because they created a two-party political system where greedy amoral scumbags would always cheat their way to the top and keep a status quo of one party causing problems and the other making empty promises to fix those problems whilst creating other problems and blaming everything on each other instead of fixing the actual issue.

Fuck this arc. This should not be canon to this blog, but of course everyone absolutely loves it because it’s “dark” and “serious.” And since everyone absolutely loves it, that means it’s going to be canon to the blog, and when the cute adorkableness starts back up again tomorrow, it’ll be impossible to enjoy because our cute adorkable Twilight was an accomplice to a military coup. And I just LOVE how you decided to do a “serious” political story on the weekend of September 11th. That’s… that’s fucking shitty, dude.
