It’s fine, everyone approaches learning curves differently, and just diving in isn’t a bad way to learn. Just relax, and have fun. Because if you aren’t having any fun, it’s just not any fun.

It is a very popular OC, that I didn’t even think about for some reason until recently; mostly because of this little fiasco. I did edit the description to avoid any further confusion. Nyx is an old nickname friends used to call her, and a name she just thought was so fitting. Thank goodness you understand. I was honestly very worried that I wasn’t able to upload any images regarding her version of Nyx, due to such a popular OC. Thank you so much, and I’m very sorry again. I feel like we may be seeing each other a lot, I’m fairly new to this uploading thing and honestly, mistakes are to be made.
 
 
Honestly, I’m really am sorry. I’ve been catching your attention here lately with the things I post, as I said. I don’t mean to violate any codes, or rules, or anything of the sort. I don’t aim to troll, or purposely spam/do things incorrectly. I didn’t mean for the spam before, or the confusion with this. I’m not really new to the site. But I’m EXTREMELY new to the uploading process, and everything correlating to that; tags, and all. I don’t mean to cause trouble, or harm. I’m just getting used to the swing of things. So I do apologize, and hope I’m not driving you too far up a wall with my petty, simple mistakes.  
I hope I don’t look like too much of an idiot, especially to everyone else out there seeing the embarrassing encounters we’ve had here thus far.

I take full responsibility for this. Didn’t know that OC even existed till I saw the tag. I put a lot into my OC Nyx, and I am not taking credit for that Nyx. Just my own. She looks a lot different from this Pony Town picture, I assure you.

Sorry for the confusion - Pen Stroke’s version of Nyx is such a popular OC I assumed you were talking about that character.
 
OC’s can’t be copyrighted, and it’s absolutely ok for two or more people to have OC’s with the same names - and especially for OCs named after dictionary words or popular characters, it happens quite a bit. So, there’s no problem having an OC named Nyx that is your own (except for the confusion that might result).
 
As for the takedown request, I don’t think you need to take it down for any kind infringement - it’s not really infringing anything (except perhaps Hasbro’s IP, but I’m not a lawyer) - but if you do want to have it deleted, we have a takedown process which you should read and follow if you haven’t already.

No, she’s not. I don’t mean that OC. Honestly, she didn’t know about that OC whilst making hers. I’m asking curiously, not in a demeaning way, but it’s not okay for another OC to have the same name, even by coincidence? Because she knew that there are others having an OC named Nyx, but didn’t know that there was one that was so popular that it was…copyrighted? I’m extremely sorry, again. I did make a report a short while after posting to have the image taken down. Solely for my concern with the infringement of the name. I’m just all sorts of screwing up here on this site, aren’t I?
