The Master IS a Time Lord, who dies he was just brought back to fight in the The Last Great Time War, where he fled to a crumbling Earth with amnesia, after meeting the 10th Doctor, (David Tennant) (fangirl squeal) he accidentally regains his memories, and regenerates while stealing the TARDIS (Derek Jacobi to John Simm.) (Since the Time Lords gave him a new regeneration cycle) He becomes the Prime Minister of England, where he destroys the Earth, but The 10 Doctor (fangirl squeal) stops that from happening and The Master dies. He’s brought back by Lucy Saxon (the Master’s wife) and The Master kills her and returns to Earth and turns EVERYONE (except Donna Noble) into himself, once again The 10th Doctor (fangirl squeal) thwarts him, and he gets stuck in a time loop, where ALL of this keeps repeating forever for him. Eveauntally he breaks free of the loop and regenerates (John Simm to Michelle Gomez,) now calling herself Missy, she travels into the “Afterlife” where she gives the deceased a Cyberman upgrade into indestructible Cybermen. She gives The 12th Doctor (Peter Capaldi) (boo) full control of the Cybermen to try to break him, but Danny Pink (Samuel Anderson) (Clara’s boyfriend turned into Cyberman) takes control and self destructs all of the Cybermen. Missy then follows The 12th Doctor (boo) to Skaro (home world of the Daleks) where she tries on multiple attempts to kill Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) (The Doctor’s then companion) including tricking Clara to get inside of Dalek armor, and trying to get The 12th Doctor to shoot Clara. Her plan is foiled and she is left on a crumbling Skaro.
