Well, yeah. There’s only two finales with her in it to choose from, so naturally the next one is going to be either the best or the second best finale featuring Starlight (or worst, depending what a person’s stance on her is.)
I can understand why people who already liked her or were invested in her would feel ecstatic about it based on the synopsis alone, but for me atleast, it’s going to have to do a little more than that.
I’m already really hyped for this upcoming finale.
By virtue of having Starlight Glimmer in it, it shall be either the first or second greatest finale ever, to have Starlight in it.
I feel like this is going to be highly dependent on whether you already were her biggest fan or not, seeing as the synopsis makes it sound like it’s probably going to be a StarlightPowerHour.
I don’t know, the series makes it seem like her reformation is such a big deal, but it’s so underplayed in my opinion. Then again, I often see people react to her in such a ridiculously negative way that it’s probably for the better (going so far as to call episodes with her in it “ruined” because of her mere presence).
The finale better be the best thing ever, or I will shake my fist in nerdy rage.
She got both the premiere and finale, as well as 3 focus episodes. Even as a big Starlight fan I can be satisfied with this.
