Oh. I apologise then, I take it back largely. Sorry, I’ve seen the character be pushed out of having any personal glory moments so often i’m usually looking into these gifs to see if an episode is worth skipping or not.
 
Admittedly still irked the episode pushed her into being non-competitive from the sounds of it, not as bad as I thought then. Sorry for the knee-jerk reaction.

so what you’re saying is you didn’t actually watch the episode.
 
she’s specifically trying to win the “traditionalist” award which involves building a cart very close to the very first applewood derby carts. It does not involve coming in first/second/third/whatever.

… Oh for Christ’s sake, even in an episode where everyone is supposed to be wrong, they manage put push Applejack into being inferior to everyone else? Do the writers just actively hate the character by this point.
