It’s not just today, there’s been quite a few 2-year-old image updates over the last couple of weeks.
Maybe they were from when Deviantart changed something, which made Derpi’s upload page fetch the preview size instead of the full version. Wouldn’t explain why they’re being updated today, though.
Because in Derpibooru there’s a system which merges old images with the newer ones.
I see now, but how was this coming with the remaining old comments?
It’s an updated version, if you see closely, you can see that the first comments are from 2 years ago.
