To me? That’s dumb. A computer’s a tool. I wouldn’t want a hammer to express my personality. I want a hammer to do a damn fine job of hammering things. Similarly, I want a tablet/laptop that’s powerful and /sturdy/.
 
It’s not about looking cool. It’s about having something that performs well and can survive getting jarred. Portable devices will get jarred. It’s part of the nature of being portable.
