Um… you do realize that was a kid’s movie right? Hasbro wouldn’t allow something that would be too dark if Sunset Shimmer burned down Canterlot High. Plus it wouldn’t make any sense because she realized of her wrong doings and learn to redeem herself with the help of Twilight Sparkle.

Pretty much anything would have been an improvement on that, though.
 
(That said, I’d personally have ended it with the Humane Five realizing too late what assholes they were and hating themselves, while Sunset goes back to Equestria to spend time with Twilight and Spike; she has her doubts about whether they’re actually her friends, but they’ll at least pretend to like her, and she’ll take what she can get at this point.)
 
I’m thinking of this as an alternate ending for Rainbow Rocks, in which Sunset attempts to defeat the sirens by getting rid of everyone they were feeding off of and tries to pretend it doesn’t make her feel better.

Yeah, this is exactly how the 2014 Holiday Special comic should’ve ended, with her doing this and going back to Equestria, because this is certainly a better ending than what we got.

I wish this happened in equestria girls,would of been a lot better then the shitty ending we got in the actual movie.

and where it is going sunset you can not pass through the portal and return to equestria as this is closed to within 30 moons and in this dimension twilight still not used the magical diary interdimesionals messages to create the machine to open and close the portal idea what gave him pinkie pie  
apart from the school cameras they filmed it all and sunset step overlook that small detail in the end the police catch her sooner or later because right now going to have to go into hiding very well for three years until the portal will again and can equestria return and take revenge of twilight on down his face that sunset is in this dimension the magic of friendship failure for sunset their feeling of revenge was stronger than the magic of friendship
