Well, it’s not like people will still be playing the CCG long after the show has ended.  
Yeah, there’ll still be people casually playing, but support/official events will drop off, say, 2 years at most after the show has ended.  
I mean, with no new screencaps to work with, they’ll have no more cards to make, so there’ll be no more expansions, and once those stop it’s only a matter of time before Enterplay moves onto something new.  
All in all, that joke will still be somewhat relevant when the CCG dies, even moreso if (God forbid) Trump does get elected.  
…Sorry for the mini rant, I’m rather sleep deprived atm.
