It’s nice to see the more traditional vampire types are still going strong after being attacked by disco wrecking-ball. Then again, the traditional types are more fascinating, Meyer’s are… like a five year took glue and glitter to a GI Joe.

When vampires were cool? They’re still cool, it’s just the ones from Twilight that suck. Alucard, from Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate, is potentially one of the most badass characters in anime. Angel in Buffy was great. The vampire characters in Hotel Transylvania are cool, too.
