I haven’t given it much thought. If you or anyone else has a good idea for a name for this meme, feel free to make a suggestion and I’ll take it into consideration.
It’s a reference to scenes in both season 5’s Bloom and Gloom and Season 6’s Newbie Dash where Apple Bloom and Rainbow Dash respectively were the victims of an electric shock which, in cartoons, results in their skeletons beng shown. Apple Bloom’s skeleton revealed that the vertebra just above her coccyx was in the shape of an apple and Rainbow’s vertebra (same one) was a cloud, leaving fans to speculate if the gag was a functional biological one and if all tribes had one.

Is it just a random body-part chosen to get the joke in there, or is there actually a reason for the ‘ponies have a unique vertebra’ part?
Pretty sure a unique vertebra would achieve nothing but pain for the pony - at least that kind, a ‘unique’ vertebra like cats have is different (it’s less about shape, more about function, in their case)
