It means either he loses in 2012, or he wins and only serves half a term. Any more and he’d be ineligible for the vice-presidency.

Heh, maybe not in politics, but there have been many times only one has had the VISION. That’s what I was getting at. It comes back down to ONE. One Lenin. One Che. One Lindburgh. One Sasakawa. One Saddam. Or heck one Audie Murphy if you want a purely soldier-y example. They exemplified the phrase “There is only me in team”

One man cannot change the world by himself Niggoslav. It takes help from others. And this is natural, as man is a social creature. It takes community, and group effort to get things accomplished on a large scale. Truly, there is no such thing as the Übermensch as some understand it. Simply put, one man (and by extension one country) only has so much strength. After that, it requires teamwork. Looking at history shows us that whenever a man rises to greatness, it is by little merit of his own, and either an agreeable community, or a lot of lucky breaks.

Potentially, you can change AAAAANYTHING - even, potentially, some laws of physics.

The tricky part is assessing reality - measuring the resources that are available\reliably and not potentially) acquirable, and the leverage that you can apply them with against the challenge at hand.

I don’t think that Twilight Sparkle, so fond of a royal pony, would ever endorse a president.

Anyway, “campaign of 2016”? Does this mean that Obama is going to lose on 2012 or that Twilight is going to be the president?

And you see, that is why you should elect ME President…Hey wait is there anything in the laws about the VP being foreign? Cuz if not I am totally tapping Udo Voigt as my mate.

RH: you can change ANYTHING it’s all just a matter of how much of yourself and others you are willing to sacrifice. Unfortunately the modern american public is chaotic apathy personified. They only hem and haw about their TV programs. If only we could fool a candidate to come out against a certain grey pegasus, it would spell doom for his entire campaign! And that’s when we begin our Putsch!

We also have the unfortunate (or perhaps fortunate) tendency to run our mouths off. It gets us in trouble as often as we say something really, really smart.

Mr. Thumbsup, as much as I hate political apathy, your comment made me smile. And me. If politicians were guided by Ponies, I think Molestia, as distinct from Celestia, would be Bill Clinton’s shoulder pony. Come over here Monica.

Dude, chill. You really sound like one of those brainwashed marginal opposition guys that pick up smart-sounding catch-hrases and start spouting them left and right with and without reason.

There’s something we can agree on. They’re both totalitarians and we’re not giving either of them our one vote. Yeah, having a quantum duplicate doesn’t get an extra vote.
This country is almost unsavable at this point. It would take far more effort than it is worth to drag this country out of its downward spiral.

Obama’s policies (especially Obamacare) are a threat to the American ideal that people should be allowed to do what they want with their own finances. One of the most basic principles of America is right to property, and although he’s not the first to betray that right,^ he is especially bad. He made the oath to protect America from threats both Foreign and Domestic. Yet regularly, his policy threatens the right to life of unborn children, the liberty to say and think what we want, and our ability to do what we want with our property. One look at how he has completely failed to help jobs be created in his term in office (indeed millions more jobs have been lost than created in his time in office, and very few have been created, and there has not been as high an unemployment rate since just before the depression) he has raised the national debt by trillions.
And Joe Biden being stupid needs no further documentation. He’s sort of the Jaywalking here.

Obama, I’m sure would be a fine man to have as a friend, and he seems even nerdier than us. But he is, without doubt, one of the worst presidents we’ve ever elected. He isn’t the root of our problems, but he has only aggravated them. I don’t expect him to receive any comeuppance for his crimes though, as nobody cares enough anymore.
