Eh that does not necessarily mean that this get together will go completely south. From previous panels I get this really weird feeling that Billy actually cares about Gilda. So he’ll try to make this work out. For Gilda’s sake. He can still hate Dash’s guts afterwards.

Breaking through the panel borders like that makes the page flow really nicely. The heated parts of the conversation feel like they’re actually happening faster and more intensely, rather than just plodding along at the same pace like with identical rows of panels.  
Guess it’s the kind of clever trick you pick up over four years of work!

I hope he’ll try.
 
But I don’t think he will. Gilda and Rainbow were still friends during her first appearance on the show, which suggests that her relationship with Billy broke into teeny tiny pieces since he and Dash cannot stand each other.
