To be honest I can’t give less damn about how many Appledash shippers are still out there, because I am loyal to the show and I will simply reject any fanfiction that is even slightly off from show canon, and that includes lots of Rarijack fictions/artworks out there too.  
But we all know, the chemistry between Applejack and Rarity, which was developed by the show writers themselves, is beyond any mane 6 pairings by an entire dimension, even in IDW comics they have spectacular synergies.  
I honestly don’t care if they turn out to be lesbians, because that’s gonna need more than one season to develop, Legend of Korra did it, but it was more a rushed plot twist than a foreshadowed ending. All I want, or probably all I need in season 6, is to see them continue with this whole friendship development, deep friendship is just as precious as romance.
 
Of course I don’t mind them being lesbians, try me Hasbro ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

To be fair a lot of that was probably people who dislike or are just against shipping (or lesbians) in general.

Im laughing at how BOTH OF THEM lost the poll in the link to “Other” (AppleDash and Rarijack both got exactly 32% vs 36 for “other”)

Yeah that about sums up the Fandoms one real shipping war.
