Maybe it’s because communism is bad, ‘mmkay?
 
all jokes aside, maybe it’s because with her looks and hairstyle, she seems to fit into the crowd of athletic pegasi (most commonly associated with the Wonderbolts - who do seem to be quite popular in the waifu train this show practically seems to be becoming), and her equalized version just doesn’t reflect that?

So cute! <3

What surprises me is how little of what Night Glider art there is has her equalized mane and colors. She (and her light purple recolor) are the only ones who looked good that way.
 
There also hasn’t been a lot of Goth Pony and Sunny Pony, or that chilipepper pony, from “Canterlot Boutique.”
 
And almost nothing of the Saddle Arabians or Canterlot cheerleaders lately. Granted, the Saddle Arabians and cheerleaders weren’t in Season 5, but that’s no reason to stop drawing them.

Sadly, it seems that was the case in regards to picking favorites, hell, the same can be said for quite a few other characters as well.

I agree with you. I’m very surprised (and disappointed) at the lack of Night Glider art that is out there. Granted, the art that is out there is pretty good, but looking at it leaves me wanting more. I’m trying to get her some more attention by doing some pieces of her. Hopefully it’s helping!
 
I suppose it’s like you said, she came along just a little too late into the show where everyone already had their favorites picked out and they don’t like switching. Oh well, she’s one of my favorites now :)

Y’know, I’m honestly surprised. I figured Night Glider art would have practically taken over the interwebs when she was first shown, but there just wasn’t really a true rush of it. Given she had more screen time at first then the wonderbolts, who absolutely soared (no pun intended) into the art scene near the beginning of the fandom, I would have guessed she’d get more popularity.
 
Although, I guess it can also be attributed to everyone already having best pone picked out, and there were just plain fewer ponies in the show to choose from back at that time…..
