because the artist put a lot of work in it? let’s say the artist put two hours of work in it. then they got 7.5 dollars per hour. which is really not a lot considering art is a luxury and should be paid as such

Yes, coloring isn’t HARD, but it’s not just “bucket tool”. You can only do decent bucket-tool coloring if you have absolutely flawless and super-clean line art.
yea I know nothing about art, it’s not like I’m an artist myself. and before you say “your art is probably bad” I’ve had a few upvotes galore and even wall of faves on here. it is as simple as that
It’s still relatively simple, even non-artistic idiot like me can do it (If colors are known. If not, I can turn it into acid mess :P). But ‘simple’ don’t mean it’s not tedious or time-consuming. I guess in this particular case, time=money.
If you think that coloring is as simple as “bucket tool”, then you don’t know anything about coloring artwork.
The thing is, not actually anyone can do it - and why do something for free, how minor it may be.
