Once again I had to rush in places in order to get it posted when I wanted, but I like this one a lot. I’m thinking of going back and fixing her hands, feet and the green glowey shit, but still I love this one.
 

 
Edit: so fun facts, I knew exactly what I wanted Cadence to look like, Cadence in FiM is basicaly the epitome of the beautiful goody goody two shoes princess classic. Celestia has the mentorship schtick as well as angel/god and sun motifs, Luna’s got the “dark is not evil” almost-but-not-quite goth thing, but Cadence just exists to be the perfect “girl”. So I made her look like the most neutral “I’m a really good girl who never does anything bad but I’m gorgeous an I know it so still need to show off how pretty I am” high schooler. So super tight jeans and super tight hoodie, but no skirts, no tank tops, no revealed skin.
 
Had toyed with the idea of making her a goody goody cheerleader, but even that’s too sexual nowendays. Plus I kind of hate cheerleaders, every cheerleader I knew in high school was an entitled bitch, plus lately the local middle school cheerleaders have been standing outside my favorite convenience store with coffee cans begging for donations and shooting me dirty looks when I tell them I don’t have any cash. I don’t, I use a freaking debit card, I’m not going to pay the atm fees just for you…

anyway, Queen Chrysalis was a totally different story. The changelings eat love, that basically makes them PG succubi. I was originally thinking somthing akin to Morrigan from Darkstalkers, but I went more… you know… slutty… Of course almost every time I drew her outfit I erased it and started over. No that’s too slutty, she’s not a prostitute, she has standards! No that not slutty enough, shes got to eat love to survive, she cant be to modest or she’ll die!
 
So I think I hit a decent middle ground in the end. The other thing I wasn’t sure about was if she should keep her crown and wings and such. I’m not a huge fan of the High School theme of Equestria Girls (which is ok because the movies don’t even care and the plots have absolutely nothing to do with high school when you think about it) so I figured that if she can use magic to change her appearance anyway, it wouldn’t matter that her “true” form looked a little more like her pony counterpart.
