When was she under hyponsis beyond the Dazzlings? Not during the Changelings that’s for sure.  
Only the banishment and not the emotional and psychological harm? Yes. Because she didn’t seem to regret any of that.  
Yeah, I do, families are supposed to care about the emotional damage they cause too, not just for having to send them away.  
She chose Discord to go after Tirek. And no, not half the Mane 6 trusted him, really only Fluttershy did. Sure Twilight believed friendship meant more to him but they are always wary of him. After all it was only in this season they seemed even comfortable around him. And Celestia should have known better in the first place. Fluttershy wasn’t the one who suggested sending Discord out, Celestia did.  
And no he couldn’t have. He was not strong enough to do that yet. Notice how he only went after Alicorn magic after he had absorbed essentially everyone else’s? After all he focused first on Unicorns before he was strong enough to take flight and strength from pegasi and earth ponies. Hell he didn’t even take Discord’s until he had all but the Alicorn magic. Look how powerful he got after taking his, why didn’t he take Discord’s before? Clearly the strength of the magic is a factor in how strong he must be to take it, otherwise Discord could have even just lead Tirek to the princesses first right? Why risk the princesses doing something to prevent him from getting their magic if he could have taken it instantly? And Celestia herself said that with Discord’s help they wouldn’t be able to stop him from taking Alicorn magic. So they could have stopped him if Discord wasn’t helping him and Celestia admitted it.

you honestly sound like you don’t know how families and siblings work.  
as far as tirek and discord, she trusted him, and she was wrong, so it was misplaced, she trusted him and so did half of the mane 6, it’s now Celestia’s fault to apologize for now right, not fluttershys or anything, convincing them he’s reformed or the like.  
yeah “could have solve this in seconds” that a fail logic, he asorbs magic, he could have asorbs her magic and grow more powerful then the entire land and they would have lost instantly, he nearly took it before, why would being weak stop is ability to adsorb magic?

It takes someone who is truly sorry to verbally acknowledge their mistake and apologize. In fact there are cases where I can’t even tell if she is as in each of those cases she kept standing there as if she did nothing wrong. She swept the bit of her not trusting Twilight under the rug as if it didn’t happen, the only time we ever got a hint she regretted what she did to Luna was just the banishment. NOT how she neglected her and allowed it to happen in the first place. As if to say there was no way she could have prevented it and that it was entirely Luna’s fault. Even in her confrontation with Nightmare Moon, she was demanding she lower the moon, she didn’t try to reason with her, try to help her or find some compromise. No it was ‘LOWER THE MOON CAUSE IT’S YOUR DESTINY’. And then with Tirek. Oh “It seems my trust in Discord was misplaced” But enough about my mistake let’s just seal our magic in you because yah know that’s the best logical step even though if we went after him in the first place while he was still too weak to take alicorn magic we could have solved this in seconds. In each case it doesn’t seem she was truly sorry for her major blunders but rather the regret was that she placed any trust in others. Yeah, blame everyone else for her fuck ups. She makes excuses, not apologies.

Oh really? When has she ever apologized? Let’s see. Never told Luna she was sorry for allowing her to fall into despair and hatred. Didn’t apologize to even her own student after she not only showed no trust in her regarding the fake Cadence, but instead said that trusting your instincts is a good thing after she chastised her for doing just that earlier. And she never apologized for her misplaced trust in Discord which, if anything, allowed Tirek to nearly succeed in his plan where if instead she and the other princesses tried they could have stopped him as he wasn’t yet strong enough to take Alicorn magic. Basically, Celestia has done more to damn Equestria than any other character and she’s never apologized for these mistakes. Instead she carries herself as though she’s perfect and every one of her subjects practically views her as a goddess.

Well we don’t know if she COULDN’T use the Elements too. What’s more since so much changes in each different timeline, this could have also been one where she figured out a way to reverse it, kinda like in Dragon Ball where King Piccolo reverse the Mafuba.

Yeah, now Celestia can taste the tragedy. After all, have we ever once heard Celestia utter the words “I’m sorry” to anyone? Let alone her own little sister whom she just sat back and let fall into despair and eventually darkness ultimately then banishing her to the moon when clearly there was another way?

She put Celestia to sleep, pulled the moon up against Equestria, gently set her on the surface, and sent the moon away again.

it’s a mix of teleport and stasis spells, and its IN the moon, not on it. she was injured, but i can be done with sufficient magic power. also, it’s not karma to seal you sister away, it’s tragic.

My question remains “How did Nightmare Moon manage to do so without the elements?”  
I mean, sure, Nightmare Moon may have gotten stronger in the time she was in the moon, but she wouldn’t exactly have a lot of spellcasting practice available for something that high scale, it literally took her a millennia just to cast a powerful enough spell to get /off/ the moon, not even by herself, mind you.
