I prefer to think of Rarity’s nickname as “Rara” so that I can create an AU where both Raras are Applejack’s ex-wives and she works in a government office while hating the government and vegetables.
 
How exactly that last one works with ponies, I’m still working on.

And just adding on top of that, Rarijack will probably succeed in garnering new dimensions too.
 
My new headcanon is that Contessa Colorado was AJ’s first girlfriend, but after they lost touch she latched onto Rarity, who was sort of similar.

No see MarbleMac was able to kill FlutterMac because FlutterMac was based on nothing and it’s essentially the same dynamic.
 
Rarijack would be a much harder slay because there’s a lot more backing it, and it involves 2 Mane 6 and I doubt Rara here will garner as many fans as Marble did too.

How awkward would it be if Rarijack were canon and she accidentally called her Rara during a romantic moment in the past and Rarity didn’t catch on that it was a slip-up until just this episode?
