I have given thought to take a old picture and compare it my new style and skill - but i haven’t the time
You ever thought about redoing that one so Spike isn’t so… bad?
I’d like to say that’s how it is with pretty much every artist. But whenever I look back at my own old stuff all I can think of is “yeah it was kinda weaboo-y but I drew so much better back then.”
Also whenever I do that I always realize that I can’t really post comparisons because pretty much all I ever draw now (aside from some fan art) is smut. :T
You can find it on his FA gallery on page 11 and all I’ll say is that you can definitely tell it was his first time ever drawing ponies. It’s very… Rough.
Now I’m curious!

As for this hurting Applejack, she’s made of steel. After all, she’s the grown-up version.
You think that’s amazing, you should see his Twilight, Rarity, and Spike picture that still hasn’t been uploaded.
Not at all surprising, though. Ponies are odd to draw and you have to practice at them specifically to get good at them.
